I saw a flower wholesale company online, would it be wise to order my wedding flowers that way?

Has anyone ever done that,or knows someone who has?

I am planning on doing it, and what I have been told is that it is wonderful if you have the time, keep it simple, and have artsy people. We are doing irises with yellow roses, so it will safe us a lot of money. Just plan on asking your bridesmaids to help out the night before/that morning with making centerpieces and bouquets. Also, make sure you practice ahead of time!
Reply:Check the company out first, find out what happens if you don't get what you ordered, or what happens if you get horrible quality. Check with the BBB and ask for personal references. And only do this if you're willing (or have a friend who is) to do your own arrangements. Best of luck to you!
Reply:yes... and i hear there faster that way...
Reply:not a good idea at all. Would you order your wedding cake on-line and only see it and taste it on your wedding day? The flowers can come to you dead or wilted. You could get someone else order by mistake. For a wedding you only have one day to make things right don't chance it. If you want discount try going to your flower district and purchasing your flowers the day before from the flower dealers and creating the bundles yourself. Or you can look in the yellow pages and call all the florist and ask about prices then get the lowest quotes and go to their showroom. You might even get to see them make a bouquet while your there. Good luck.
Reply:i would see if you can find someone if they've gotten flowers from this company. You can also check out the better business bureau to make sure they are a reputable company. You have a great idea that could save you tons of money if its on the up and up.
