Who should wear flowers at the wedding? Just the wedding party or all the brothers and sisters wear them?

Who should wear flowers at the wedding? Just the wedding party or all the brothers and sisters wear them? my brothers fiances mom thinks all the brothers and sisters should have flowers to distinguish them from others. We are already wearing the wedding colors the brothers one color the sisters the other? Are flowers proper for all immediate family????

It is really up to the couple! However, most couples only have the mother and father of the bride and groom with flowers (step parents included in this) and grandparents of both the bride and groom! Anyone who is reading, singing, ushering, passing out programs, guest book, etc. And of course anyone in the actual bridal party.

Anyone else is really extra, and mainly done to make people feel important or a part of the event.

Good luck and congrats!

Thats a lot of flowers I had to make. Brothers and sisters are not getting them too! lol

(My older sister wouldnt wear it anyways)
Reply:The Bride, Groom, Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Grandparents, Parents %26amp; Sibblings (if not in the wedding) should all wear flowers. It really does make them stand out and really feel special. Congrats!!
Reply:There is no 'should', it's your choice. The parents and grandparents of course, and usually the godparents. It's a nice idea to have siblings have flowers, but it depends upon your budget.
Reply:I think all the brothers and sister should have flowers. I personally love this custom.
Reply:No, the wedding party, moms and dads, and grandmom's. That's it.
Reply:Who is footing the floral budget? Let them decide?!?

Or remember it's your wedding and do what you want.

Tradition isn't something tat is kept too often these days anyway.
Reply:Yes, all immediate family should have flowers. This includes all parents, siblings, and grandparents.

Also good to note, the guy's family pays the florist bill!
Reply:It's really up to the bride and groom who they want to wear corsages and boutonnieres, but I personally like the idea of family wearing them.
Reply:I think it's up the the bride and groom on how they want to do it.
Reply:We're having wedding party, ushers, parents, siblings, and grandparents all have flowers. All of the men will have boutonnieres, though those in the wedding party will have a slightly different one from family. The mothers have small bouquets (they didn't like the idea of corsages), and all of the other female family members will have a single rose. It's not a lot, but it's a small gesture that distinguishes them from guests and makes them, especially the grandparents, feel special.
