And does anyone know, how much less expensive are they than the real ones. Was it worth it to get the silk and save the money or did they look like crap? We are having an outdoor wedding in the mountains so we don't need a lot of decoration but for the bouquets, boutteniers (sp?), and some for the arbor. Thanks.

Michaels has top of the line silk flowers and are having a 40-50% off sale on their silk flowers right now! They are much cheaper than real and last forever! Both you and your bridesmaids will have something to remember your wedding by getting to keep your bouquets. And by using silk centerpieces, you can give them away as door prizes in your reception so some of your guests have something to remember as well! I think if you're having an outdoor wedding and conerned with heat and weather and the effects it may have on your flowers, then silk is definately the way to go!
Reply:I have been looking at Hobby Lobby and Pottery Barn also for good choices.......but you will be surprised also at what you can find on EBAY, I'm not kidding....put in the search...bridal bouquets or bridal flowers.....there are some good buys there and good ideas also...gl Report It

GREAT prices and good quality, I have gotten several things for my house there. Bubbles is right, sometimes the REALLY good silks can cost as much as florals, but I have had really good luck with that site. The pink gerberas are awesome, I made topiary balls out of them for my wedding and ordered 400 of them, they only costed $.50 each and are the really good like real quality!

I personally think they look terrible.... just go to the local supermarket and get some real roses. Good fake flowers can actually cost more then real flowers!! Just get the supermarket to make up some simple rose bouquets for you... it'll be like $18 for yours.
