Do the grooms parents pay for wedding flowers or do the brides parents?

brides parents traditionally paid for the entire wedding and reception, and the grooms parents paid only for the rehearsal dinner...but everything is up to the individuals and their families now, as many parents can't afford the whole thing and many couples pay some or all of their own wedding costs.

Do the grooms parents pay for wedding flowers or do the brides parents?
Traditionally the breakdown goes something like this:

In current days though, the couple is more and more often choosing to pay for the entire thing themselves (with exception of services offered by family as gifts). In truth, it is the couple's responsibility to pay for their own wedding these days. You would not throw any other party and expect your parents to pay would you?
Reply:The grooms parents should pay for the flowers (all flowers... down to the centerpieces and flowergirl petals). They should also pay for transportation, rehearsal dinner and liquer for the reception.
Reply:In this day and age things r so expensive. Leave it up to both parents to decide. If they both want to help let them.
Reply:eerrr revoloution , they pay for their own wedding.....
Reply:It is true that traditionally the brides parents pay for the flowers. But here is the deal, now days the brides parents do not pay for everything! If you feel comfortable you can ask for certain people to help you out with certain things. Or if they offer even better. But don't feel like you have to plan this whole thing all on your own! My guy friends parents payed for half of everything at his wedding.
Reply:Brides parents will pay the wedding flowers.
Reply:The couple should be paying for everything for the wedding. If not, you all need to have a meeting with the couple and both sets of parents to figure everything out.
Reply:i thought it was for everything, but work as a team
Reply:The bride and groom pay for ALL wedding expenses unless any parents/family *volunteer* to pick up some of the costs.
Reply:it's the brides parents but both parties can talk/decide about it and help each other for the good outcome of the occasion or it all depends on the bride and the groom.
Reply:grooms
Reply:In most of the cases its the brides parents who pay for the wedding!!!
Reply:The brides parents pay for the wedding. The grooms parents pay for the wedding rehearsal dinner. Or whatever financial help you want to voluntarily lend to the brides parents. These days it's very expensive for everyone.'
Reply:The grooms parents pay for the rehersal supper and that is all.
Reply:Unless they offer to pay for the flowers specifically as a wedding gift to you, then you pay for them yourself. Same rule applies for the wedding album.
Reply:BEING A FLORAL DESIGNER FOR OVER 11 YEARS AND DOING FLOWERS FOR OVER 500 WEDDINGS, THERE IS NO ANSWER. IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE COUPLE GETTING MARRIED AND WHO CAN AFFORD WHAT AND WHO IS PAYING PAYING FOR WHAT \

YOU CANNOT HAVE A SET OF PARENTS PAY FOR SOMETHING IF THEY DONT WANT TO OR CANT!! THINK ABOUT IT IT MAKES SENSE. IF MISS MANNERS SAYS THAT SOMETHING IS THE CORRECT WAY, BILL HER!!!
