Help! I am so frustrated with my wedding flowers. My bridesmaid dresses are tea rose pink with a dusty rose pink sash. Here is a picture: http://www.alfredangelo.com/Collections/... I don't want expensive flowers- I'm on a budget. I like simple %26amp; elegant. Pink, white, %26amp; green are the colors I've been looking at the most. I need bridesmaid bouquets and a bouquet for myself. I've been racking my brain for weeks %26amp; I've googled hundreds of pictures. PLEASE HELP!
What flowers should I use for my June wedding?
Green hydrangea are stunning but not "budget" flowers. If you are being cost conscious and who can blame you- use the hydrangea in your bouquet only. I wouldn't pair the Gerber daisies with your Hydrangea and Spray Roses. (Personally I think Rannuculi are prettier than the Spray Roses especially with the green Hydrangea. If you want to use Gerberas, use all the different pinks they come in for your bms, along with Yoko Ono green button mums, and green Hypernicum. Ask your florist to show you all these flowers at your next consultation. The different pinks of Rannuculis and Gerber Daisies will give classic and simple bouquets depth, and the berries will add texture.
Reply:I think you should go with gerber daiseys or maybe just lilly's very simple three lilly's together and then just wrap the stems. Now for you how about using the colors from the brides maid dresses mixed with white all baby roses...in a nice bouquet with a simple wrap on the stems-no babies breath is not in now. Good luck...when you see it you will know.
Reply:i used ivory roses and they were beautiful
Reply:I think pink, white and green will look really good!
Maybe you can have pink and white flowers with green folage and your bridesmaids could have a mix of white flowers with green folage...

Reply:How about gerbera daisies? They come in a variety of colors and should be in season (i.e. cheaper) for your wedding. Just google "gerber daisy" or "gerbera daisy."
Reply:Two words: Gerbera Daisies. Get them hand tied and they will be even more reasonable! We are using those for our wedding. We got each bouquet for $30!
Reply:Sometimes inexpensive flowers can be arranged in a way where they really add color or texture without killing a budget. I'm hoping to use babies breath for most of my flower arrangements with roses sparingly, because i love the simplicity but i did find a few pictures using carnations which looked nice. http://www.thailandflowerstore.com/image...

Good luck and talk to a florist they can give valuable advice!
Reply:Try to look in www.costco.com. They have all kinds of flowers and they seem to be at a reasonable price. Also albertsons and publix, they do weddings and I think they could save you a lot of money. Good Luck!!!
I am planning a wedding too.
Reply:Have you been to a florist? Find out what flowers are in season - they are always cheaper. If you are looking at green as part of the colour you can add a lot of foliage to your bouquets - this also reduces the cost quite a bit. I say talk to a florist to get some ideas.
Reply:We're having a wedding in my family in June and the main flowers will be green hydrangeas and pink peonies
Reply:tropical ones... all different types
Reply:What about carnations? Don't disregard them until you try them. They can be clustered into a nice round bouquet and look beautiful. They are also very affordable. Hydrangeas are large enough to make a bouquet with just one or two stems tied together. They have a classy look. They are kind of pricey, but you wouldn't need a lot because they are so big. The gerbera daisy is a nice idea too. They are reasonably priced. You might look into alstromaria bouquets. They are nice in a bunch just tied with ribbon. Now that you have some ideas.... go talk to your florist and tell her/him that you only want to spend so much.
Reply:I would go with the gerbera daisies or a combination of the gerbera daisies with carnations. Both of them are very affordable flowers. I used the gerbera daisies for my bridesmaid bouquets. They looked beautiful, and it didn't take a lot of them to make a bouquet since they are a fairly big flower. The nice part about the gerberas is that they come in many different colors. If you are looking for white and pink here are a few pictures...
