Help. I need real light blue flowers for my wedding.?

The theme of my wedding is light blue and white, but I'm having trouble finding natural light blue flowers. I would rather not dye flowers for that could get expensive. So can you help?

Help. I need real light blue flowers for my wedding.?
ahm, well you could have carnations dyed to light blue and that shouldn't be too expensive. You could actually dye the carnations yourself. It is not hard at all. Carnations are about the cheapest flower you can get here too. Ohter than that. You could try Morning glories, but they wilt quickly. There are also Hydrangeas, cornflowers, blue bonnets, lilacs, delphiniums, blue iris. Another thought. If your theme is light blue, daisys or a white and yellow flower would be gorgeous. You might like the contrast. Congratualtions!
Reply:go to the flower place
Reply:All you need do is put freshly cut white flowers in water with dark blue food coloring, and VOILA! Blue flowers! (Won't work well with roses but will work with carnations and margarites).
Reply:speak to the florist they can spray white flowers the colors you want them to be
Reply:larkspur flowers are nice. they are natural, and have a faint glow when air-dried. e-mail me if you have anymore questions!
Reply:try hydrangeas or 'forget me nots'

hydrangeas grow in large bunches of small flowers and come in many colors including white and blue.

'forget me nots' are tiny, common, blue flowers. with their shape and spread they could make an thoughtful replacement for the typical baby's breath.

i also think their name is adorable for a wedding.
Reply:I have seen hydrangeas done in wedding mags and they can look stunning. Search the net for wedding photos with hydrangeas. I would have used them but they have a short in-season that did not fall at the right time of year for me. I got married in August. I think spring is the time for flowering hydrangeas. One suggestion given to me was to get really good quality silk and mix them into an otherwise real boquet.
Reply:Go to Wal-mart.
Reply:call a florist
Reply:put food coloring in carnations....
Reply:You could put forget-me-nots in little bowls on the tables. Hydrangeas come in blue but they are rather large. Felicia is very pretty, looks like a daisy but blue, with a yellow centre. Ageratums are also pretty. It might be cheaper to dye a less expensive white flower. Good luck to you.
