Wedding flowers?

I am trying to think of spring wedding color combinations that are different. I really wanted coral and pink but I saw my cousing had those colors at her wedding last year we I refuse to be like her. I would love to try the new spring combination of lime green or (light green) with a light blue, the problem how am I going to find flowers with these colors. No I have not went to a florist yet, before I go I wanted to have a idea if anything like this exist, I didn't want to look stupid. Any florist or anyone who has conquered these colors help me out please

Wedding flowers?
You're doing it backwards. Just pick the colors and ask your florist what's available. Otherwise you'll go in there with a list of flowers they can't work with, and you'll look bossy and dumb.
Reply:I suggest visiting weddinglenox.com and post your request. Their matching system http://www.weddinglenox.com/f-membersign... will match you up with local vendors with pricing you specified. I tried it and have good result as I only recieved response from vendors according to my request.

One problem I had with my wedding is that it is hard to locate vendors in most website as most likely they group by states and there are too many of them that's too far from me and I have to look at each site to figure out.

The sites I provide above have a easy to use layout to show you pictures, pricing and location in one page plus, you can send out your inquiry for matching vendor to contact you. That save me lots of time to locate the best vendors with the right price.
Reply:Florists are able to colour certain flowers to what you want.

Mainly they do it with carnations as they take the colour spray well. You could also consider white flowers and then have ribbon in the colour you want placed through.
Reply:There are many beautiful ferns to give the green look. Ferns won't wilt and mix in just great with flowers. Alot of the natural spring flowers just cannot stand up in a bouquet. Forget me nots are tiny and dont do well over the long haul. Light blues would be best picked through a florist as there are "floral" hybrids that come in many colors that you will not find in the garden. The light blue color is hard to obtain any time of the year but particulary in spring. Spring is a lot of white and purple. There are some beautiful asters, like New England aster, but this is a fall flower. Best go with the florist for light blue.
Reply:To be honest the combination of light green with blue or lime green with blue does not sound very appealing to me. I would use tulips there are so many colors and combinations that you can use and that are very pretty. I would use pink, white, purple, and even the tulips that are pink with red on top. You can use white orchids, with lavender lilies, and or tulips, or lavender lapsy, there's pink lilies, fruit blossoms, and daisies.
Reply:Why not get the lime color in the leaves and use forget me nots and violets for the blues? Glads come in lime green but they are summer flowers, not spring. Check with the florist. They have lots of good ideas.
Reply:belles of ireland are very eye catching, med/light green flowers. some roses and tulips are shades of pale green, very sweet smelling, may have to order way in advance or hope someone has the in bloom. helebores(christmas rose) is often shades of pale green or white, sometimes they have a light pinkish hue though.
