Site for wedding flowers (bouquets, etc)???

I am getting married and I would like to have some ideas to take with me when I go to the florist. I was wondering if any of you know of any great websites that have ideas for bouquets and wedding flowers. My colors are purple and lilac and silver. Any ideas will help.

Site for wedding flowers (bouquets, etc)???
look through bridal magazines, find one that you like and take the picture to Michael's the person in the floral department can help you get everything you need, and you can make your own bouquet. it will be much cheaper, and you will have the satisfaction of doing something so important for your day. Remember to make a second one to toss (it should be smaller and more simple)
Reply:I suggest visiting weddinglenox.com and post your request. Their matching system http://www.weddinglenox.com/membersignup... will match you up with local vendors with pricing you specified. I tried it and have good result as I only recieved response from vendors according to my request.

One problem I had with my wedding is that it is hard to locate vendors in most website as most likely they group by states and there are too many of them that's too far from me and I have to look at each site to figure out.

The sites I provide above have a easy to use layout to show you pictures, pricing and location in one page plus, you can send out your inquiry for matching vendor to contact you. That save me lots of time to locate the best vendors with the right price.
Reply:try nationwideflorist.com or FTD.com onlinewholesaleflowers.com sells them for cheap.

or proflowers.com/wedding or growersbox.com..

just google flowers for wedding or something.

i would also go to neighborhood flower shops and

ask them to show you a combination of purple and

some kind of silver decorations.
Reply:For church decor or ceremony decor, love this site www.pewcones.com. I got so many compliments and on the cones and flowers. I used them at the church and them brought them to the reception and at the end of the night - let the guests take them home. I bought our flowers wholesale at Costco- $13.99 for 2 dozen. But silk will work too and I think Joann's or Michael's has a good selection. Hope this helps! Happy planning!
Reply:This site made talking to my florist so much easier!

http://www.yourweddingcompany.com/index....

its an index of sites that have bouquets and other decorating ideas for wedding, very helpful!

Also, I DON'T reccomend ordering fresh flowers online for your wedding, you have no way to insure good quality and if it come out bad you won't have time to get it fixed. Also, silk is not really that much easier to work with, and to get good quality stuff (not the stuff people take to the cemetery) you may end up paying just as much if not more, and I doubt higly you are looking for something that looks like you would leave it on the grave....the perk is you can keep it forever if thats what you wanna do! I had great luck with this site

www.save-on-crafts.com

lots of great quality silk flowers at a much better price than I have seen, I ordered 400 silk pink gerbera daisies to make my topiary ball centerpieces, and they look great and were only 50 cents each after shipping!
Reply:There are two websites that I ordered silk flowers from for my January 2007 wedding:

the brides bouquet-i used toss bouquets for the bridesmaids (white roses)

budget minded brides-I used this site for my bridal bouquet which i personalized to suit me

The flowers came out beautiful and I was fully satisfied with both companys.
