Does anyone know what is the average one would budget for wedding flowers to take place in Edmonton, AB?

The wedding will take place in late summer/early fall (August). Types of flowers I am thinking to have would include orchids and calla lillies.

This really all depends on what you will need. Are you sticking to basics as far as only needing bouquets and boutonnieres or are you going all out? In that case you are looking at flowers for the altar...flowers for the pathway down the isle, flowers for centerpieces at the reception...corsages for the moms and grand moms etc etc...it can really add up. Also you need to figure out if you are going to go through a florist or try and put some stuff together yourself...you can save a lot of money going to a wholesale flower market and assembling the flower girls baskets, the center pieces etc etc. Flowers can range from $500.00-$20,000.00 or more. It really all depends on what you are doing and how you are going to do it.
