What is the best color for wedding flowers?

* it can be a combination of 2 colors...pls help!

What is the best color for wedding flowers?
i'm partial to tropical flowers so magenta and white makara orchids, take a look at www.teleflora.com and look up " zen artistry" and "loves sweet dream" (names of bouquets). Just the right amount of green to balance. :)

I also used bear grass and white carnations in addition to the orchids. What I loved about these flowers, besides how beautiful they were, was that I could have them close to my face without having an allergic reaction, and none of our guests suffered allergic reactions either. (allergies make for an ugly wedding day)
Reply:Well... I think to answer that we would have to get to know YOU.

The color of your flowers should reflect your personality and the tone you're trying to set for your wedding.

If you wedding is in the summer time and you're super energetic and fun... I might do orange and hot pink.

If you're a more traditional bride I may do a lavender... I would stick with just the lavender if you're traditional... but if not it would look pretty cool with some blue

You're not just limited to roses though...

I wish you would have told us more about your vision and colors. I also LOVE pink calla lilies (I'm the non-traditional bride)

Please give us more details so we can really help you...
Reply:You can do it several ways...

1] pick the colors the wedding party is wearing

2] bride could have all white, with just a few colored flowers

3] pick the flower from bride's birth month, and from groom's birth month

4] pick a mix of seasonal flowers [ many colors ]
Reply:Pale colors. I think bright flowers look a little tacky. Not in general, but at a formal affair. Pale green, lilac, soft pink, and of course, white. If you ever look in a bridal mag, if it is a more upscale setting the flowers are always soft. Never bright yellow or purple or orange.
Reply:I love chocolate brown and tiffany blue.. you could have different shades of blue.. tiffany, turquoise.. etc...

Pink also works.. baby pink, hot pink, magenta...

Pick your favorite color and enhance it...

congrats
Reply:I would think that the BEST colors would reflect those of the Bride's Dress %26amp; the Bridesmaids gowns... So whatever THOSE 2 colors were, those would be the colors of the Flowers. :)
