How much did you spend on wedding flowers?

I mean bride, maids and a few button holes, not the church?

How much did you spend on wedding flowers?
i am probably going to spend about $250 to $300 bucks and make my bouquets and Bout. and Corasages myself. Im just buying bulk roses from either a wholesaler online or Sams Club, or Costco.

i just cant fatham spending thousands of dollars on some flowers for one day that are going to eventually die.
Reply:Make your own. The fern, flowers and green tape are all available from florist shops; the pins from high street "bits %26amp; pieces" shops or a fabric shop if you know of one. Just take one carnation or a spray of pinks (long lasting flowers), a spring of fern, and tape them securely together. Add a small piece of florist wire if you want them stronger. Put the finished flowers into a nice basket or a disguised/decorated box (ribbons look good) for the big day. Practice beforehand, as you'll have to make these shortly before the wedding.

(the fine fern is better than bracken fern, if you can get it. You could replace fern with a bit of gypsophila for a showier spray)
Reply:about $800
Reply:For my Vow Renewal I am spending $130 on flowers, I wish I could spend 50 like some of you other brides. I haven't a talented bone in my body. Huh! Any tips please feel free to email me. Also silk flowers last longer, plus if you ever choose to do a vow renewal, nothing like using your first bouquet of flowers.
Reply:For the whole wedding it was about $125. I did all the arrangements myself with bulk red and white roses. It looked great too!
Reply:About $500. I had a bridal bouquet of roses (light pink, dark pink, white), lilies, and some other flowers I don't remember. My bouqet was about 14" diameter. There were six bridesmaid's bouquets of about 9" diameter. There also 11 boutineers and four corsages (we gave flowers to our parents and grandparents as well).

I was very happy with the flowers and the price. I got such a good deal because I went to all the florists and said "My budget is $500. What can you do for me? No, I won't look at your fancy book and pick something out for a quote. What can you do for $500?"

Some of the florists absolutely refused to do a quote this way. But a surprising number did, and it was great to see what they came up with when I didn't give them any restrictions besides cost, quantity, and color.
Reply:About 800. My bouquet was around 80 - it was big, a hand-tied European bouquet of a variety of flowers - a few roses, stargazer lily, carns, alstromeria, etc. The four bridesmaids had smaller versions, and were about 60. Boutonnieres were baby carns for the four groomsmen. There were several corsages and boutonnieres for family members. That total amount also included three floral arrangements, which we used at the church, then used at the head table for the reception.

Reply:I spent $600 total for all the flowers, bouquets, boutinerres, chruch and reception. Flowers werent all that important to me on my wedding day, it wasnt what I placed my emphasis on. However, my best friend's emphasis was on the the flowers and she spent about $2500 on everything.

You can spend as much or as little as you want, there arent any set rules, its what you and your fiance decide.
Reply:My bouquet will be $75, my MOH's will be $35 (there are no bridesmaids), six corsages at $10 each and seven boutonnieres at $6 each.
Reply:£54 two years ago
Reply:I spent $4,000 on ALL my wedding flowers, but the flowers were a really important part of the wedding for me. I love gardening and outdoor stuff so having exactly what I wanted in flowers was a necessity.

You need to figure out how important the flowers are to you in your wedding. You could definately get away with only spending a couple hundred for everything all together.
Reply:I bought my bouquet from a florist, that wasw 125 dollars

I made the bridesmaids and the buttouniers, which costed 100 for those, including supplies, so $225 in all.

So she is doing quite a bit. Hope this helps. Good luck and best wishes to you on your special day!
Reply:We spent about $500 on the flowers
Reply:$50.00
Reply:I think total we spent 4000
Reply:I spent about $100. All our flowers were silk, and my aunt made all the bouquets for the maids and myself, and my mom made all the centerpieces.
Reply:Paying a florist $95 for my bouquet. Making 3 bridesmaids bouquets for $15. Rest of the flowers for corsages, bouts, altar arrangement and reception will cost about $125. Doing all the arrangements ourselves with flowers bought from Sam's.
Reply:My aunt did all the arrangements and I think the flowers cost about $50-$75 for silk. They looked real.
Reply:I have not had my wedding yet but the quote for all my flowers is about $500.00
Reply:About £125 over 20 years ago now
Reply:When I got married it was a winter wedding, I wore white velvet with a hood. I wanted a prayer book, not a bouquet, mum made me have flowers, she said if I held a white prayer book I would look like a pint of milk, so she paid and I have no idea how much. Seeing how long the marriage lasted I think a pint of milk would have been cheaper!
Reply:nothing
Reply:My sis spent 50 dollars on hers but fo all the Maids she spent 5 ( they were homeade)
Reply:I spent about 700 bucks on flowers for the wedding party
Reply:Actually, I'm not paying for them. My future mil is a florist and is giving us our flowers as her gift to us. I'm only getting calla lilies, though, so it will probably only be around $100-150 for the bridal party and parents (boutiniers %26amp; corsages).

It depends on what kind of flowers you want. If you want all roses, it could be more expensive than having daisies and carnations mixed in with some lilies.
Reply:I think each bridesmaid bouquet was about $10. They were white roses bought in bulk from Sam's Club, tied with a light pink ribbon. My bouquet was also a simple one, just a bunch of pink roses tied together, and it was probably $20 or so. In all, about $50 for the wedding party. I preferred the simple bouquet's over the lavish, professional ones.
