For wedding flowers, can you mix tulips and roses? What CAN you mix and what CAN'T you mix? What are the rules

You can mix anything you want, it's your wedding.

Who would ever come up with such a silly rule?

For wedding flowers, can you mix tulips and roses? What CAN you mix and what CAN'T you mix? What are the rules
personally i wouldnt mix the 2 without some other flowers in there or having different flowers alll the same color. but you can type :weddingflowerhelp: into your internet explorer browser and get some professional advice.
Reply:My daughter had a bouquet like her bridesmaids in pink, orange, purples, etc....hot colors...bridesmaids and mothers of the bride and groom wore black, too. The little flowers girls wore black and white long dresses....YOU GO FOR IT .....IT'S YOUR WEDDING...
Reply:yeah, no rules! It's your wedding and you can do what ever the hell you want to! You can mix Roses and pinecones if you wanted too! Who cares what others think! It's your day and as long as you're happy then there should be no problems!!!! :)
Reply:I'd say that you can mix whatever flowers you like (assuming it's your wedding). Rules, schmules. Go with what looks good to you. Let out all your "I am the Queen of the Universe" bride feelings on the flowers and other small stuff. Just keep your inner prima donna in control when it comes to dealing with the other people involved.
