I trying my hardest not to get stress out for my own wedding.
What kind of flowers should i have for my wedding?
I don't know about tropical flowers, but tulips are awesome for colors.
Reply:Not sure the calla would look good with these but white daisies with hot pink carnations make the most beautiful arrangement ever! I just love them together and they last a long time.
Reply:if you don't have a favorite flower then contact a florist to find out what flowers are in bloom during the season of your wedding and pick from those I'm sure you can find beautiful flowers and cut some of the cost b/c they are in season
Reply:I'm doing mini calla's and hypericum berries for my bouquet, and the girls' are having gerbera daisies w/ the berries. There's also mini gerbera's, they come in BEAUTIFUL colors. Your florist should have a color chart, Good Luck!
Reply:A wedding ceremony is a celebration of love where a couple exchange their marital vows and express their undying love for each other. In addition, witnessing the marriage ceremony are wedding guests and the wedding party. The ceremony is often officiated by a member of the clergy.
Associated with the wedding ceremony are many traditions. Some of those traditions include the exchanging of rings, the tossing of the bridal bouquet, the tossing of the bride's garter, wedding cake, etc.
In addition to the ceremonial traditions are various decorations that typically add to the occasion. Some of those decorations include a unity candle, candles, appropriate wedding attire, etc.
Another popular decoration that adds to the wedding ceremony are wedding flowers. The importance of wedding flowers can be seen as they contribute to the theme of the wedding and the various wedding flowers that are needed.
Wedding flowers can be an important part of the wedding ceremony based on a number of characteristics associated with flowers. Some of those characteristics include their color, fragrance or different types of flowers available.
For example, if you wish to have a wedding ceremony that takes on a Hawaiian love theme, the wedding flowers that could be chosen may be in the form of a Hawaiian lei. These leis could be worn by the wedding party or given to each guest. Often Hawaiian leis are made from pikake flowers that are intertwined with other flowers such as the ilima, orchids or rosebuds.
An additional feature that flowers bring to a setting is their lovely fragrance. Therefore, wedding flowers can be an important part of the marriage ceremony as they symbolically reflect the fragrance of commitment and love through the release of their essence.
Finally, flowers can be an extension of the color theme that is being captured by the bride and groom. For example if the bride is wearing pink the flowers can match or accent that choice of color that permeates the wedding ceremony.
Traditionally, there are many wedding flowers that are needed in a typical wedding ceremony. Those flowers that are needed include the bride's bouquet, the boutonnieres for the men in the wedding party, the maid of honor bouquet and the flower petals sprinkled by the flower girl.
Probably the most important wedding flowers are the flowers that comprise the bride's bouquet. Not only can these flowers be selected for their color in order to match the bridal gown, but the choice of flowers used to comprise the bouquet are equally as important. For example, flowers that can send a message are the forget-me-nots or the standard flower of love which are roses. In addition, a flower that can be used is the myrtle. The myrtle traditionally conveys the message of constant love.

Reply:Where are you and when is the wedding? this will influence what type of flowers are available and how much they cost. What colors are the bridesmaid's dresses (if any)? Where is the wedding and what color is the interior? Are these for your boutineires (spelling), bouquets (again, spelling!) or for centerpieces?
I know, lots of questions - but just answer these and we can narrow down your choices and get an answer!
Reply:Try talking to your florist. Call them up ask for a bridal consulation they will bust out all of their books with plenty of pictures and can even show you some flowers in the shop. This lets you look at hundreds of different flowers and you can figure out the costs as well. Another good thing about your florist is they can give examples of other flowers that would look good with Calla Lilies, let you know what is in season at the time of your wedding and they will be able to tell you the names of some of the flowers you may be thinking of.
